Festive season at Simba Safari Camp

While we were all getting ready for the Christmas holidays, the staff at Simba Safari Camp went an extra mile to bring the festive season to the wilderness.

We had some very special plans for our guests to add a touch of magic to their visit. The entire lodge was decorated with Christmas decorations and lights, including a wonderful Christmas tree. The celebrations included a traditional music performance from the Kikorongo Cultural Group. A perfect chance to get know the traditional rhythms of the friendly Wakonjo, the predominant tribe in this area of Uganda.

The traditional performances were followed by a delicious festive dinner including fresh pumpkin soup, a choice of main dishes, fresh salads and tropical fruits. The evening ended around the camp fire to enjoy a great sparkling night, surrounded by the sounds of the bush.
